MU launches a Medical Convoy to Bni Hafez Village, Minia Governorate

Under the auspices of the president of Minia University Prof. Dr. Essam El-Deen Sadiq Farhat, the university witnessed the launch of an awareness symposium to Bni Hafez village, center of Mallwi Minia Governorate, in light of the university's keenness to perform its leading role in the presidential initiative "Decent Life”, that targets the most underprivileged villages and provides a decent life with sustainable development for the group most in need in the governorates of Egypt.
  The convoy examined around 480 cases in 10 various medical specializations including Pediatrics, Otorhinolaryngology, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, Rheumatology, Internal medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Cardiology, Orthopedic, and Neuropsychiatry. Free medicines were distributed to the patients during the visit, based on their diagnosis. 
 The convoy also held several awareness symposiums on Kidney and summer diseases of children, and family planning methods. The convoy continued the university's campaign that was launched earlier to protect the environment and prevent throwing waste into waterways that have been lined and the importance of maintaining the cleanliness of them
