The President of Minia University prof. Dr. Essam El-Deen Sadiq stated that
a high-level delegation from the university participated in the activities of
the 8th International Conference of the National Authority for Quality
Assurance and Accreditation of Education, held under the title:
“Micro-credentials and the National Qualifications Framework… Bridges across
Borders.”
The conference was held under the patronage of the Prime Minister and
attended by Dr. Alaa Ashmawy, Chairman of the Authority’s Board of Directors,
the Authority’s vice presidents, the President of the Arab Universities Union,
the Governor of Cairo, as well as a distinguished group of university
presidents, deans, and quality education experts from Egypt and around the
world.
The participating delegation included Dr. Ahmed Shawky Zahran, former Vice
President of the University and Director of the Quality Assurance and
Accreditation Center, Dr. Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Director of the Strategic Planning
Center at the University, and Dr. Ghada Abdel Hafeez, Deputy Director of the
Center, along with several members of the Center’s Board of Directors: Dr.
Hanaa Abdel Hamid, Dr. Ahmed Diab, and Dr. Rokaya Abdel Salam. The delegation
also featured outstanding participation from students representing various
university faculties.
His Excellency the university’s participation in this international event
reflects its commitment to supporting quality systems and exchanging expertise
with academic institutions, added that the students were keen to attend the
scientific sessions and accompanying workshops, which contributed to enhancing
their awareness of the latest global trends in quality assurance and
accreditation.
