The President of Minia University Prof. Dr. Essam El-Deen Sadiq
Farahat, participated in a meeting held by the Minister of Higher Education and
Scientific Research Dr. Abdel Aziz Qonswa, with number of presidents of national
universities related to the Governmental Universities to follow up on the
progress of educational process during the second semester.
This meeting was attended by several ministry leaders and was held
at the private education building in New Cairo. During the meeting, the President
of Minia University emphasized that the university’s participation comes as
part of its commitment to supporting the state’s directions toward developing
the Higher Education system and enhancing the integration between governmental and
national universities that contribute to providing a developed educational
experience that meets the needs of the labor market.
On the other hand, the Minister of
Higher Education stressed the importance of closely monitoring the regularity
of the academic study and implementing the directives of the political
leadership to enhance the quality of university education. He confirmed that
expanding the establishment of national universities represents one of the
state’s strategic pillars to support sustainable development paths and build a
knowledge-based economy.
The President of Minia University
stated that the university continues to support Minia National University by
providing distinguished academic staff and completing advanced laboratory
equipment and modern infrastructure. This aims to ensure the delivery of
contemporary academic programs that focus on innovation, entrepreneurship, and
digital transformation, while keeping pace with the rapid developments across
various disciplines.
