In light of the directives of the
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi emphasizing the importance of enhancing national
awareness among youth and strengthening their connection to the national and developmental
projects witnessed in the land of Sinai, the Education and Students Affairs sector
at Mini University organized a field visit for a delegation of Governmental and
National Minia University students, including students with disabilities to the
city of Al-Ariesh in coordination with the military education administration at
the university.
The visit included a field tour, included the seawater desalination plant in
the city of Al-Arish, the development works of Al-Arish Seaport, and Battalion
101, along with the aid reception and logistics support center heading to the
Gaza Strip, as well as a visit to Tebat Al-Shagara, one of the prominent
historical landmarks in North Sinai Governorate.”
In this context, the University
President emphasized that such visits play a vital role in enhancing students’ national
awareness and introducing them to the efforts exerted by the state to achieve comprehensive
development. He also highlighted the importance in strengthening the role of youth
in supporting the path b of construction and progress.
For his
part, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mahmoud Vice President for Education and Student
Affairs, stated that field visits represent a real opportunity for university
students to learn about national achievements, helping to build a generation
that is conscious, responsible, and capable of
actively participating in nation-building.
