In light of Minia University’s
efforts to promote the level of health services, and under the auspices of Prof.
Dr. Essam Farahat, President of University and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdel Hamid, Head
of Public Authority for Accreditation and Health Monitoring, the University
seeks to promote a culture of quality and enhance concepts of patient health
and safety, according to the latest 2025 edition of the Comprehensive Hospitals
Accreditation Standards.
This initiative reflects
the commitment of both sides to advancing quality standards and safety within the
healthcare system in Minia and also aligns with the directives of the political
leaderships to improve the health services level inside university hospitals
and to meet the needs of second phase of “Comprehensive Health Insurance System”.
The program was honored
by the attendance of Prof. Dr. Ayman Hassanein Vice President and Executive
Director of Minia University hospitals, Prof. Dr. El-Sayed El-Oqda Member of
Authority Management Council, Prof. Dr. Walaa Abdel Latif Member of Authority
Management, and Dr. Ahmed El- Shalabi General Director of Public Management for
Technical and Clinical Monitoring at the Authority, Dr. Shimaa Abdel Fattahb,
General Manager of Public Management for Training, Dr. Ahmed Asem Member of
General Administration, Dr. Salman Hamdi
Director of Central Quality
Administration at University Hospitals.
During the program, Prof. Dr. El-Sayed El-Okda presented an overview of
the Accreditation System,
along with a detailed explanation of the standards related to Patient-Centered Care (PCC),
Access to Care, Continuity, and
Transitions (ACT), and Integrated Care Delivery (ICD).
