Prof. Dr. Essam Farahat, President of Minia University, confirmed that in a
new milestone reflecting the growing role of Egyptian universities as a point
of change and a driver for sustainable development, the University’s student
team "Swift" got a
remarkable accomplishment by winning the national
Gen Z competition and received financial
support of half a million Egyptian pounds, in addition to signing sponsorship contracts for their pioneering project.
The agreement was signed in the presence of Prof. Dr. Eman Zai El-Sherif, representative
of the Innovators and Geniuses Care Fund & Director of the Innovation and
Entrepreneurship Center at Minia University, and the team members."
For his part, professor. Essam Farahat
expressed his joy at this achievement that enhances the university’s position
as a supportive for innovation, asserting that its students have proven
their ability to lead change and build the future through pioneering projects
with a tangible social impact, supporting the goals of sustainable development
