Within the framework of the continuous
commitment to field inspection and to follow up on the quality of medical
services provided for citizens, the President of Minia University Dr. Essam
Farahat made today an inspection tour to the University hospital of Cardiology
and Chest Diseases in New Minia to inspect the workflow and preserve the level of
performance within the various medical departments at the hospital.
During the tour, the University President was accompanied
by Dr. Mohammed Taha Director of Hospital of Cardiology
and Chest Diseases and a number of the medical sector leaders. The visit
included inspections of emergency departments, intensive care units, outpatient
clinics, and patients’ rooms.
For his part, Professor. Essam Farahat affirmed the
importance of providing comprehensive healthcare for patients, the necessity for
medical staff to adhere to the quality standards and discipline. His Excellency
also stressed that providing a safe medical service is one of the university’s
top priority in line with its societal role, especially in light of current
health challenges
The University President also
listened to the complaints and observations of several visitors to the
hospital. He directed to solve any obstacles affecting service immediately and
emphasized the need to improve the hospital’s working environment to ensure
patient comfort and satisfaction.
