In light of the University Council Meeting, Professor Essam Farhat congratulates the faculty members, employees, and students on the occasion of Eid- AlFitr and approved 14 new academic programs and sending them to the Supreme Council of Universities for accreditation at 9 faculties.

The University President announced result of the Exemplary Student at the University level, in addition to the winning of the Faculty of Physical Education with the first place in the Third Environmental Week events, while Faculties of Dentistry and Tourism won the Second and third place.

The council also stressed Minia University’s advancement of 61 place globally in the URAP ranking and its inclusion in the QS rankings for specializations for the first time and emphasized the development of services provided by the Faculty Club and their quality. 

On the other hand, His Excellency thanked those in charge of organizing the largest group Iftar banquet at the university, 1,500 meters long and attended by 2,500 people.
