The Anti- Violence against Woman Unit, in cooperation with the Women's Issues Foundation in Cairo organizes a training camp for students of the Faculty of Law from Faculties of (Cairo- Minia- Sohag- South Valley) on the personal status law proposed to be more fair at Horus Tourist Resort in Minia, under the auspices of the President of Minia University Prof. Dr. Essam Farhat, Vice President for Community Servie and Environmental Development Dr. Ayman Hassanein, Dean of the Faculty Dr. Hassan Sanad, Director of the Anti- Violence against Woman Unit  Dr. Jamal Atef.

The training includes 30 student from various Faculties of Law at the level of Republic and lasts for 4 days from Sunday, October 27 to Wednesday, October 30, 2024.

The camp was opened by the Women's Issues Officer Mrs. Gawaher Taher, where the Dean Professor. Hassan Sanad gave a speech welcoming the students and gave a lecture on the international covenants and treaties that preserve the rights of women and the family, hoping to achieve family stability, justice and non-discrimination against women.

The opening was inaugurated by Dr. Jamal Atef – Department of Civil Law, Faculty of Law and Coordinator of Anti- Violence against Woman Unit and Dr. Marwan Hafiz, Department of Private Law and Student Activity Coordinator
